Solid lines are the data and dashed lines are fits to the data. At pH 8.5 multiple peaks in the radial structural functions reflect Sr-O, Sr-C, and Sr-Sr backscatters that match SrCO₃ (s). At higher pH, there is only a single shell of oxygen backscatterers indicated by one peak in the radial structural functions.
