The goethite concentration was 7 g/L and the total DFOB concentration was 80 μM. The SDS adsorption data were taken from [21] and were measured in the absence of DFOB. Δ(SDSads) and Δ(DFOBads) denote the additional SDS and DFOB adsorbed relative to the next lower SDStot concentration. The ratio Δ(DFOBads)/Δ(SDSads) is an estimate for the additional amount of DFOB adsorbed due to additional adsorption of SDS to the goethite surface. |
